EXCLUSIVE SCREENING: CONNECTED
“We humans have accumulated so much knowledge. Why do we have such a hard time seeing the bigger picture?” ponders Tiffany Shlain, the Tribeca Award-winning director of Connected – an autoblogography about love, death & technology. All participants at ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN 2012 are invited to attend an exclusive screening of Connected on Friday November 30th at 4.15 pm. This documentary cum memoir explores the nature of relationships in a world where people are increasingly interdependent.
Former US Vice President Al Gore has said of the film: “With humour and creativity all its own, Connected illuminates the issues that affect us all.” It’s a film that is stirring up discussion and debate, and the themes will resonate with e-learning professionals across the board.

ONLINE EDUCA is the best place to feel the heartbeat of technology-enhanced teaching and learning. A lot of new information to analyse, brand new tools and technology, meeting with interesting and exited people – this is an incomplete list of benefits that participants can derive from participation in this outstanding conference. I would like to be a part of ONLINE EDUCA every year!

OEB is the premier international conference to learn about learning and the cutting edge of educational tools and materials available. I could not think of a better place to be.
Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, The Oxford Internet Institute, UK
Besides interesting discussions and many great insights, we also got a ton of important contacts and new leads to potential partners!

For me, it was fascinating to see how many people from across the world are interested in learning about the application of technology to education, but I was also very impressed by the number of people who were challenging the assumption that technology is always good. We have to be very careful that we use technology as a tool, not as an end in itself. That was very good for me to see and very useful for me to hear.
