Peter Bower

Peter Bower has wide education experience, as a teacher for 29 years, and as an Assistant Headteacher, with responsibility for Students and Families, in a large 11-18 Comprehensive School in Cornwall in the UK. Peter delivers innovative online safety sessions to schools and parents and carers throughout the South West and the UK. He has also developed training for professionals and volunteers who work with children and young people to enable them to understand and support them in their online activities.

He is an Online Safety Consultant to South West Grid for Learning and is a Lead Assessor for the award winning school self review tool, 360 degree safe. He coordinates the SWGfL EPICT Online Safety qualification and also sits on a number of Local Safeguarding Children’s Boards in the South West of the UK.
