Eric Baber is Innovations Director of Cambridge University Press. The Innovations unit explores new technologies and assesses their application for publishing; researches how users nowadays engage and work with content; and helps inform the direction of Cambridge University Press with regards to its digital strategy. Eric is also involved in exploring and forming strategic partnerships with organisations in a range of industries for mutual benefit. Eric has previously been an Associate Lecturer in e-learning related subjects for the UK Open University. He has also founded an online language school which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and has worked for Royal Holloway, University of London as online course designer. He is a published author in the field of technology-enhanced teaching and learning. He has been an invited speaker at a range of conferences and institutions including the ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN (Germany), the Sultan Qaboos University (Oman), the British Council, the Institute of Education (UK), IATEFL and BESIG.
