Klaus Bader-Labarre

Following a studies in Agronomy at the TU Munich and in Göttingen and PhD in socio-economics of rural development various long term assignments in Latin America, Africa and Near East as research officer and extension advisor in TA projects.

From 1993 to 2004 partner and project manager of Consulting company. In charge of developing, planning and managing capacity development projects in Russia and other Easter European and Central Asian countries. Main topics were rural finance, regional development and agricultural support services in the context of development programmes  of the European Union, the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and German institutions.

In parallel working as trainer and moderator for specialist and executive staff from Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Since 2005 Senior Project Manager with GIZ (former InWEnt) and Deputy Head of Section for Human Capacity Development for Vocational Education and Training in Germany, in charge of developing and implementing capacity building projects in the Near and Middle East, Southern Africa, Central Asia and Latin America.
