Elena Coello

In her position as Head of Sector, Elena Coello leads the ICT team at the Executive Agency Education, Audiovisual and Culture of the European Commission. The team manages the whole life cycle of ICT projects funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme and its predecessors, Socrates-Minerva and eLearning. Over the last twelve years Elena has acquired a large experience in the field of the use of ICT to enhance Lifelong Learning. Elena has worked for several years in the European Commission as well as in the private sector in several European countries. She has studied in Spain and Germany, and holds a university degree of Humanities and Education Sciences of the University Valladolid, Spain, with Germanic Philology and Linguistics as main topics.
