Shirley Williams is Professor of Learning Technologies at the University of Reading and a National Teaching Fellow. She has worked extensively on projects related to technology and learning. She leads a group of researchers called OdinLab with interests in: digital identity, communities, ontologies, distributed systems, information and knowledge, intelligence, social networks, new and emerging technologies, particularly related to eLearning, competencies and virtual worlds.
