Shirley Williams is Professor of Learning Technologies at the University of Reading and she was recently awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by the Higher Education Academy. She leads a group of researchers called OdinLab with interests in: digital identity, communities, ontologies, distributed systems, information and knowledge, intelligence, social networks, new and emerging technologies, particularly related to e-learning, competencies and virtual worlds.
