Joachim Gross
Joachim Gross is an educational manager and learning coach in the Electro Technology Centre Stuttgart, a leading centre for vocational education in the electrical trades . Joachim Gross works within the etz in different areas of the advanced vocational training as a business manager, who teaches business management in the skilled crafts sector. He participated in the development of the web based learning management systems www.ueba.elkonet.de and www.pol.etz-stuttgart.de which the etz developed in Cooperation with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). He furthermore developed applications of web-based training, webinars and blended learning concepts e.g. the “sales manager for solar energy”. He is the Communitymanager of an electrical forum for vocational training in the electrical trades. (http://community.etz-stuttgart.de/). Joachim Gross participates in the current project SOL 2.0 (Self Organized Learning 2.0), where the etz is in close cooperation with the Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) at the University of Stuttgart and the University of Dortmund. The aim of SOL 2.0 is to develop the concept of web 2.0 based collaborative learning and user created content with the target group of vocational trainers.Joachim Gross studies educational management at the University of Oldenburg, currently he is writing his master thesis about business models for self organized learning.
