Assistant Chancellor for Academic DevelopmentHamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Dubai, UAE.Dr Narimane Hadj Hamou is a PhD holder in Software Engineering from the USA. She is currently the Assistant Chancellor for Academic Development, at Hamdan Bin Mohammad e-University, in Dubai. Throughout the years, she has led many initiatives including the licensing and accreditation of the first Online Higher Education institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education& Scientific Research in the U.A.E. She is also the founder and former chair of the Annual e-Learning Excellence in the Middle East Conference, and the editor of the International Journal of Excellence in e-Learning.Dr Hadj-Hamou was in 2009 elected president of the Middle East e-Learning Association.Dr Narimane is seen today as one of the region's specialists in e-Learning; her expertise and research interest is in educational technologies, curriculum design and development, online teaching and learning, and quality assurance. She has delivered many keynote addresses, workshops, debates, etc both locally and internationally.Dr Hadj-Hamou also has also been through the years teaching computer sciences related courses in many reputed universities in the UAE.
