Per Skafte Hansen, M.Sc., Ph.D., DPL, EBA, DL, served as an adjoint at the Dept. Math., Technical University of Denmark (DTU), writing a textbook in computational linear algebra before taking up a position as research assistant at Dept. Math., University of Dundee, Scotland. Retuning to DTU in 1988, he was first assistant professor at the Dept. Grpahical Communication, creating its basic course in graphical communication, along with courses in C programming and in computer graphics. From 1993 he was associate professor at Dept. Information and Mathematical Modelling, teaching numerical analysis and devoting himself to computational geometry, stereo imaging and educational development. He was active in the EDU-IT umbrella project, carrying out some 16 small projects.From 2003 to 2005 he was project manager with the Danish Bankers’ Association, managing and further developing FOCUS, a country-wide LMS used by the Danish financial sector. Since 2005 he has been internal coach and Knowledge Manager at NeoConsult A/S, a medium-size IT development and consultancy company specializing in telecommunication, but catering for several other areas, too. He has developed internal education in management, incl. project and team mgt., developed the structure of a wiki-based intranet, the use of video-based documentation and facilitated studies in preparation for certifications etc.He is active in educational and project management networks and develops learning concepts, giving presentations when opportunity arises. Despite a minor paralysis of the right hand, he is still an active amateur pianist and also finds time to indulge in photography, having exhibited at Danish museums and a cultural centre.
