Sara Hassen

Sara’s background is in Events and Marketing and she has spent the last six years working in organisations within the Higher Education sector in the UK. She currently works as a Communications Manager at JISC with particular responsibility for JISC Development activity the Committees for Learning and Teaching, Integrated Information Environment and Support of Research, to develop, manage and deliver marketing and communication strategies. She is involved with a wide range of JISC’s activity including repositories, access management, e-Research, e-Framework and e-Portfolios.JISC supports UK post 16 & higher education and research by providing leadership in the use Information and Communications Technology in support of learning, teaching, research and administration. JISC is funded by the UK post 16 and higher education funding councils and has an annual budget in the region of £100m.
