Sabine Hemsing
Sabine Hemsing studied pedagogics with specialisation on vocational and continuing education. Since 1996 she has been focussing on the pedagogical use of the internet. Between 2000 and 2004 she was a scientific assistant at the “Centre for distance studies and continuing education” at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. There she developed the distance education programme for educators called ENTER. Since February 2004 she has been working at the „Virtual Campus of Rhineland-Palatinate“ (VCRP), a cross-university institution which supports E-Learning at 12 universities. Sabine Hemsing consults university-teachers and e-learning support-units about planning and organising E-Learning. She developed the innovative online qualification programme TBDL, which is focussed on the demands of university teachers. 2008 she finished her doctorial thesis about “online-seminars in further education”. Her more than 10 year E-Learning experience includes:development and instructional design of multiple e-learning environments didactical planning, organisation and moderation of several online-seminars, webinars and online-ralliescoaching of online-tutors development of e-games: “Plan-Rollgames”, "WebCT-Rally" LMS trainings planning e-learning eventsdeveloping online-content for different e-learning courses
