Scott Hennessy

Scott Hennessy is an educational technologist and web site developer based in the Leeds Institute of Medical Education - part of the University of Leeds School of Medicine.He has worked in web design and development since 2000 and recently moved into mobile application development to support student assessment and learning. In his advisory role Scott provides consultation, training and support for University of Leeds staff wishing to deploy online learning and assessment material using well known e-learning authoring tools.From 2003 to 2005 Scott was involved with three UK funded projects exploring the potential of ePortfolios in medical education. The FDTL4 MERPL project, the JISC funded SPWS project and the JISC ELP project.As part this work, he co-authored a paper on ePortfolios for the proceedings of the EIFEL ePortfolio Conference in La Rochelle, 2004 (Hennessy S., Howes A. “Using ePortfolios to assess the Reflective Capabilities of Medical Students ePortfolio”, 2004).
