Aija Hietanen

Aija Hietanen is health care teacher and is now working as a project manager of PeLE-project (PeLE- developing and piloting personal learning environments 2008-2011). She has been developing eLearning processes and pedagogy over ten years. Between 1998-2004 she participated in a project that developed virtual learning environment (Verkkosalkku). At the same time she developed career development ePortfolio for the teachers and for the hospital staff.Since 2005 she has developed social media use in teaching and learning. Aija Hietanen works as a mentor in eLearning and social media tools in Savonia UAS.
