Kristi Jauregi Ondarra

Dr Kristi Jauregi Ondarra is lecturer and researcher in Applied Linguistics at the Department of Modern Languages at Utrecht University (The Netherlands). Her fields of expertise include foreign language acquisition and teacher training, computer mediated communication, task-based language teaching, and intercultural pragmatics. She has participated in several ICT projects. Between 2009 and 2010 she has coordinated the European project NIFLAR (Networked Interaction in Foreign Language Acquisition and Research. She has presented experiences and research results on implementing video communication and virtual worlds in foreign language teaching in both national and international congresses and has published on the issue.
