Harald Kjellin
Harald Kjellin is a full professor in computer science at the department of computer and system sciences at Stockholm University. He is also professor in informatics at Kristianstad University. His research has, since 1989, dealt with ways of acquiring and organizing knowledge in order to make it suited for being reused. Since 2007 much of the research is focused on how knowledge can be efficiently transferred via IT-supported socialization. Examples of these are: a) turning lectures into dramatized movies, b) transforming students’ exchange of knowledge into role-plays that is filmed, c) training students in communicating their knowledge by being part of competitions called “knowledge-games”, and d) detailed evaluations of students’ presentations.Harald Kjellin is presently looking for partners who wish to engage themselves in mass production of video-films as online games for university courses.
