Craig Lindley
Craig Lindley is the Professor of Digital Game Development at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden. He has previously worked as Professor in Game Development at Gotland University College, Sweden, research manager, Zero Game Studio, The Interactive Institute, Sweden (2001 to 2003), Chief Scientist, Starlab NV/SA, Brussels, Belgium (2000-2001), and Principle Research Scientist, CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences, Australia (1989 to 2000).Craig Lindley has a background in computing science and digital media, has been working in computer game research since 1998, and has been involved in five EU research projects in the fields of games and digital media. He has worked upon AI techniques for characterisation and story construction, algorithmic media content generation, the nature and affects of gameplay, and cognitive science and psychophysiology of game interaction.Craig Lindley’s current research interests include cognitive science of gameplay and digital media interaction, game semiotics and game form, AI in virtual environments, and new interaction technologies for digital media systems.
