Annabell Lorenz

Annabell Lorenz is Head of the E-Learning Office at the Vienna University Computer Center since July 2008. She was involved in the implementation process and support of the Blackboard (formerly WebCT) software since 2004 and took an active part in the tendering process "Software and Services" of the University in 2007, now supporting the e-learning infrastructure with eGate as the central access to all E-Learning-Services (Fronter, Moodle and administration tools).Before joining the computer center she studied German Philology, Romance Languages and Literatures, Cultural as well as Media Studies at the University of Vienna (Mag. phil., 2003) and in Paris (Sorbonne, Maître ès Lettres, 2003), and worked as a freelancer and translator for newspapers and publishers.
