Benoit Löscher is a Computer Science Engineer.He started his career at IBM in 1994 as application developer in the IBM Learning Technologies department, designing and developing applications for e-learning and multimedia delivery, from LAN based solutions in the 90’s to Web based as of 1999. The Web based delivery application allowed IBM to deliver more than 3 million learning activities within the company and to business partners.He is also the lead designer of the IBM Authoring and Management System that enables subject matter experts to publish their presentations on the Web, and project managers to follow up the progress of learning development activities. This tool allowed the creation of more than 10,000 Web Lectures (there are several registered and pending patents on the IBM Web Lectures) and to support of more than 500 e-learning projects.He is managing the e-Learning Development and Delivery department in Brussels that coordinates, amongst others e-Learning activities, including project management, instructional design, course development, quality assurance and customer reviews.
