Iain MacLaren

Iain MacLaren is the founding Director of the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching at the National University of Ireland in Galway. The centre has responsibility for issues relating to pedagogical strategy, learning technologies (including audiovisual services), civic engagement and higher education research. His original academic discipline area is Astrophysics but he has spent the last several years working in areas related to teaching and learning (with and without technologies) and academic staff development.
