Aura Mihai is Associate Professor at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. She is responsible for study curricula development, member of research teams engaged in national and international projects. Aura Mihai has made many significant contributions to the field of Footwear Design and Pattern Making in her country, by publishing five books and scientific papers related with this subject.
She is currently manager of the Development of Innovation project “Virtual Training Centre for Shoe Design” and Transfer of Innovation project “Excellence in Textile through Fashion Express” at an international level. Also, she now manages a national funded research grant. Her latest publications are focused on e-learning, learning virtual environments, rapid prototyping, simulation, and modelling.
