Ilaria Mascitti graduated in Psychology at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. She worked as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Psychology - Chair of Teaching and Learning Technologies - and she conducted research in the field of on-line education.For an Italian online interuniversity Consortium she managed projects in the fields of e-learning and innovative technologies applied to learning and teaching.She is currently Head of “International Projects, Research and Development Office” at Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi coordinating European projects in the fields of on-line education, ICT applied to education and training and multimedia didactic environments (i.e. Lifelong Learning Programme – 7 Framework Programme – Cooperation Programmes – Interreg – Life+ - ALFA- Tempus).She attended international conferences on online education, as speaker and chairman (EDEN, EADTU, ONLNE EDUCA BERLIN, GUIDE).
