Dennis Mazali
Dennis Mazali received his MA (Professionals Education) at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Thereafter, he completed MSc in Environmental Health (Biological Risks Assessment and Communication) in 2000 at Manchester Metropolitan University, England. He is currently the Head of School of Hygiene at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, in Dar es Salaam – Tanzania. Currently, he is the Director of National eLearning Support Centre (NeSC). He previously worked as an Advisor for Communication and Behavioral Change project for a US firm John Snow Inc. He is a Board member of an International Charity – Friends of Human Race based in UK and Canada, he is Co founder, Vice Chair, head of eLearning Portfolio of the of the Africa Academy of Environmental Health. He is working on different projects with organizations such as InWENT, IICD, WHO, DFID, eLearning Program Tanzania Inc., Water for Kids in areas of project development, capacity development, Human Resource for Health planning, eLearning, development of educational materials including curriculum development and course management. He sits in eHealth Strategy committee of the Health Sector in Tanzania. He is keen in seeing eLearning and ICT strategies and capacities for health are evolved in Tanzania.
