Nico Czinczoll heads up BP’s initiative to introduce online and blended learning in its Exploration & Production segment. In his role he is responsible for managing the overall change and readying the technologies, processes and capability. The use of online classrooms and online collaboration paired with innovative learning design has enabled BP Exploration & Production to accelerate the development of its staff and improve business performance.
Nico Czinczoll joined BP in 2007 to support the group-wide learning and leadership development transformation. Prior to BP he worked at DaimlerChrysler AG in leadership development, talent management, and organisational development. Whilst there he introduced global quality standards for the corporate learning function resulting in a successful accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
He studied psychology at Humboldt University and is a certified process and group consultant. He has a keen interest in combining learning, talent management and organisational development in order to drive business results.
