Heinzpeter Moecke

Dr med Heinzpeter Moecke (58y) is a board certified anesthesiologist with a strong background in intensive care and emergency medicine. After 20 years in clinical practice, he has been working in hospital management since 2002. Based in Hamburg today he serves as director for medical and scientific affairs for the private Asklepios Hospital Group in Germany. He is responsible for implementing and developing the Asklepios online library and knowledge management system serving 36.000 staff members.  His team is also exploring new didactical concepts for medical training. They just developed the first German blended learning course "hospital infection control specialist", which has been certified by the elearning criteria of the national physicians society. He is also in charge of the Asklepios Institute for Emergency Medicine and the Asklepios Physician Academy.
