Bantu Morolong
Bantu Lulu Morolong is a lecturer at the University of Botswana. She holds a PhD in International/Intercultural Educational Policy Studies from the University of Alberta, Canada and an MA in Sociology from Michigan State University, USA. Dr Morolong’s career spans more than twenty five years in university teaching and training, research and outreach and development. She has served as a technical advisor and a training and evaluative research consultant for programmes in the local and regional public and private sectors. Dr Morolong has, researched, published and presented papers at regional and international meetings, covering her areas of interest which are of a multidisciplinary orientation and cover; rural development, literacy, sociology of education, gender, higher education and sustainable and inclusive development, Conflict management and community peace building with a focus on the role of women in peace building, women and the law, the potential role of ICTs in poverty reduction, gender, energy and the environment, the gendered project cycle and gender dynamics in the changing family with special reference to access to and control over resources.
