Catherine Naamani
Catherine Naamani has worked for a number of years in the fields of e- and blended learning, having started her career as a languages teacher with a particular interest in the use of educational technology.In 2001, Catherine started working as an instructional designer for a number of e-learning projects within the University of Glamorgan, notably for E-College Wales (ECW) an ambitious European funded project which aimed to develop a range of degree programmes for online delivery. She subsequently managed the development of an online, collaborative Master's programme in Film Producing & Business Management for the Skillset Screen Academy Wales.In January 2007, Catherine took up the post of Curriculum Advice Officer for Blended Learning in the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT) at the University of Glamorgan.Since July 2007, she has been seconded to work with Rhondda-Cynon-Taff Local Education Authority to develop and support a schools' blended learning strategy and to provide staff development for school practitioners, in order to enhance and support staff confidence and expertise utilising technology in learning and teaching.
