Anna Ngoloyi
Ms Anna Ngoloyi, born 1967, is a Snr Lecturer at Tshwane University Technology in Pretoria, South Africa. My particular interests lie in the field of Educational Technology (mobile learning and open source learnign systems). I have a Master degree in Education (Educational Technology) from the University of Sydney (Australia). I am currently a doctoral student with interest in gaming and mobile learning.I have introduced teaching and learning with technology in my classes without being asked to do so. My faculty is now aware and most of the lecturers are starting to actively engage in e-learning due to my constant information sessions on e-learning. I have made it possible for all the lecturers in my department to use WebCT and powerpoint as a start to an e-learning route. In 2009 I was awarded a Grassroot Award for lecturers who took initiative in integrating technology in their teaching and learning. I was also appointed as an e-leader for my faculty over and above my lecturing duties. I have passion for what I do and hope Tshwane Unversity of Technology will not only embrace technology as a tool or platform for teaching and learning but will integrate and use it in all their teaching and learning environments. I want to get more involved in research in mobile learning and open source learning evironments.
