Ms Onderi is an Environment Officer currently working with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Kenya, in the Environmental Information and Public Participation (EE, I & PP) unit where she is the e-Learning desk officer. She has attended an e-Learning in Practice (eLiP) training in Content Development, Instructional Design, Management in Practice and Tutoring. She also underwent training in Learning Management Systems (LMS), installation and configuration with InWEnt. She has been coordinating the development of e-Learning Strategy in the environment sector in Kenya. She initiated the formation of Ministerial e-Learning Development Committee (MELDC) which oversees implementation of e-Learning activities in the environment sector in Kenya. She is the secretary to MELDEC. She also attended e-Learning Africa Conference in Senegal (2009) where she presented on how MELDC was formed hence it was chosen to be the hub of East Africa. She also participated in e-learning alumnae conference in Ghana in where she presented on implementation of technology supported learning in the environment sector. She also participated in the e-learning Africa in May 2010, in LUSAKA ZAMBIA where she presented on the implementation of AMCEN 12 decision 6.She showcased the implementation of e-learning strategy in the environment sector Kenyan case study. She also highlighted on the e-waste guidelines which they were developing to formulate-waste policies. She has spearheaded the process of digital content development and draft guideline is ready for adoption. Also she has speared the development of the e-waste guidelines which the draft is ready to be lounged on September. She is in the process of developing the monitoring and evaluation tool for e-learning in the environment sector.
