Symeon Retalis

Associate professor at the Department of Technology Education & Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. His research interests lie on the design and development of interactive e-learning systems, teacher training, and human computer interaction.  He has coordinated and participated in European R & D projects such as RADC, Educomics, EPBCII, TELL, ELEN, idSPACE, etc. He serves on the editorial board of international journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Educational Technology and Society, Journal of Information Technology Education. He is director of the CoSy LLab having built several freeware elearning systems (e.g. ComicStripCreator, CoSyLMSAnalytics & CADMOS learning design tool). He is also scientific coordinator of the skoool.gr initiative in Greece which is an open access portal with digital learning objects in science education sponsored by Intel.
