How International Cooperation can Boost the Uptake of OER for Higher Education and Life-Long Learning

The session welcomes participants from various linguistic or geographic communities. It presents the experience of developing and using OER through international cooperation in different areas, especially Africa and Latin America and shows how the support of the international community can be channeled to support these cooperative projects.

UNESCO will provide a global perspective on the implementation of the OER Recommendation and its current implementation progress.

Outcomes

  • Learn about successful projects for international collaboration in developing OER in anglophone, lusophone and francophone countries.
  • Learn about OERs from various language-specific perscpectives.
