DescriptionLearning 2.0 is a term emerging in the wake of the Web 2.0 phenomenon – but what is “second generation learning”? In what way does it differ from best practice amongst the Learning 1.0 practitioners? What does it imply for the wider aspects of formal educational delivery? In times of recession, it is critical that public institutions make the tax payers’ money go further and achieve more. This session highlights how public institutions can lead the way in practices that improve both the efficiency and impact of skills provision in the workplace. The LEARNOVATION Stakeholders Round Table, comprising the main European networks in the field of innovation and ICT for E&T, presents the LEARNOVATION Policy Benchmarking Tool. The tool and its possible impact is then discussed by a multi-stakeholder panel, and participants are invited to contribute to shaping the future of European lifelong learning policies. This speed networking session allows you to meet other ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN participants, to exchange information and to build on your professional network. What are the skills and capabilities needed by the next generation, who already have a reputation for technical mastery?
