Change drivers in society, industry and education have led to the increased use of technology to meet the changing expectations of today’s workplace employers, learners, staff and policymakers. ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN has always aimed to share good practice across sectors and feedback from past conference participants has shown, that participants welcome the cross fertilisation of ideas that occurs when workplace practitioners, education institutions and policymakers meet together to discuss the latest trends, research and examples. Moving forward, ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN 2009 also looks to provide targeted support to address the specific needs of both employers who are under pressure to address rapidly changing skills needs and deliver more with less in the workplace, as well as of institutions looking to change in order to prepare tomorrow’s workers today.
